Risk in startups, evolves. Constantly.

Notion stopped working as I was in the middle of a deep-dive. Needless to say, my reaction was...different, from when Notion stopped working whilst ticking off my personal to-do list, a few years back.

Risk is a function of your customers', their dependence on your product and their own exposure to risk.

If you're working in a scaling startup, expect that risk to evolve. Constantly.

Overcompensating for risk? You're likely not moving fast enough.

Underestimating risk? Your reputation depends on how luck treats you on the day.
